Aspen Winters is a new author to me & I must say  ...  she is on a short list of favorites!

I ❤LOVE❤ Clara! She is smart, witty, snarky & SO stubborn! She has some battle scars from childhood that still affect her as an adult.  Just when she thinks she might be able to have that "normal" life she has always craved  ... Fate steps in.  As in one of the Three Fates from Greek Mythology!! Soon she learns Fate has a plan for her that doesn't mean with her plans & immediately raises her hackles!  She is fated to belong to 5 Gods! She doesn't even believe in 1 God let alone Pantheons of Gods!

See how it pans out  ...  read it! Now on to the next book!

Royal and Reckless boxed set reviewd

Book review of Queenie by Helen Scott  ...  I am still reading this boxed set and will update as I finish books.

I loved this story! The plight of Sera to keep her ability in check as well as the despair and loneliness she doesn't even fully realize until they show up.

Nico, Saint, Alaric & Oz  ... ghosts of Sera's not so distant past  ... show up in her remote Alaskan home.

Soon feelings get lose and a long building love between these 5 friends.

Will Sera lose all including these potential new loves?

Book review of The Last Wolf by Maria Vale

This was a good book, well written, great world building and well developed characters.  You get an understanding of the hierarchy of these wolves and what it means to be a lone wolf.

Book review of Seventh Born by Monica Sanz

To be honest I found this to be a slow read. The story was good, the characters were great, the world building exquisite but it took too long.

I like the story premise and you really feel for Seraphina. She has 1 friend, a well-off suitor and a quirky but brilliant young teacher how has taken an interest in her at least secretly.
All she wants to do is what almost no one in her station has done  ...  become an inspector.

Give it a try  ...  maybe the pacing was only an issue for me.
