Book review of The Last Wolf by Maria Vale

This was a good book, well written, great world building and well developed characters.  You get an understanding of the hierarchy of these wolves and what it means to be a lone wolf.

How will this end for our Last Wolf?
Read it to see!

(I received for free from the publisher in hopes I would review honestly. )

Storm Shift by Calinda B (Book 0 in the Charming Shifter Mysteries)

Storm Shift was a fun, quick read. There was an interesting cast of characters that ice in a small town in rural Alaska. Charming, AK is charming a song as you are a normal human. There us most definitely a "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy on all things "abnormal.

Chia seems abnormal though I am still trying to figure out how. I also look forward to seeing where the budding relationship between Chia & Hung goes.

A fun quick read, give it a try.

I read this book as an Advanced reader copy and now I am writing my honest review.

Lost Soul: A SkinWalker Novel by T.G. Ayer

Life got involved & this book took me way longer than normal to read.

Anyway  ...  this book was amazing! Kai is such a string character with quite a morale compass but also the ability to kill nearly indiscriminately as needed.

She is out to save the important people in her life that are missing and need saving. She has a previous injury that is causing her a great deal of issues.

This world is well defined and I feel like I am sitting on my couch watching the story play out like a movie. It is vivid and fantastic!

I look forward to the next book in the series!

Blood Curse (DarkWorld: A Soul Tracker Novel Book 3) by T. G. Ayer

Oh my  ...  I do love a Mel story! So much drama, always on the go, saving someone, being betrayed, saving herself! Heck, she even got a new job to add to get already hectic life!

Saleem is off hopefully fixing things in his home plane, Drake is off hopefully fixing things in his home plane & Mel is left to try to fix things here!

Action packed, well written and exciting. You feel for the characters as they take their hits because they are so real!

Looking forward to the next book.

Pyros (A Skin walker Novel 1.5) (DarkWorld: SkinWalker) by T.G. Ayer

I loved Logan in Skin Deep and other books  ...  but now I feel like I understand more about Logan.

He is a young man with demons. This was well written & a joy to read!

Now on to the next book in the series!

Skin Deep (Dark World, #1) by T. G. Ayer

Skin Deep - Skinwalker #1:

This is an interesting take on a lycanthrope story, truthfully I tend to like my Shifters of the wolf variety. However, this story is so well written with action from the start that I'm not bothered by the feline shifters. I'm constantly looking for the next action spike and for what Kailin will do next.

You immediately feel for the young Walker whose parents are absent, mother gone for 16 years & dad cold since mom left.

Then enters the equally young Agent of Omega ... aka Logan. There is an immediate attraction that they both fight at first.

Many twists, turns & violence ensue & then add in a few more. The characters are so well written they jumped off the page & I got a clear visual of them all.

looking forward to the next book!

[I received this book free as an ARC with hopes I would write an honest review.]

Dark Kin (DarkWorld: Soul Tracker book 2 by T. G. Ayer)

Dark Kin (DarkWorld: Soul Tracker book 2 by T. G. Ayer)

A wild ride from start to finish  ...  it is clear I should read the next in the Skin Walker books so I fully understand the relationship between Mel & Kai. I am looking forward to that.

I love Saleem and hope it works out for them with the twists revealed in this book.

Ready to dive into the next book soon!
