Thrall (Daughters of Lilith, #1) by Jennifer Quintenz

Book Blurb:
"Welcome to Braedyn Murphy’s life. She’s a typical—if shy—sophomore navigating the slings and arrows of high school life with her two best friends, Royal and Cassie. Then a new boy, Lucas, moves into the house next door, and Braedyn finds herself falling in love for the first time."
My Review/Thoughts:
Braedyn's normal is about to tumble into crazy! She learns that she is a descendant of Lilith, the mother of all demons. What a 16th birthday! Just after her birthday she discovers that she is a Lilitu. Which is a demon that feeds off the soul or life force of others (in other words, a succubus). She is struggling to accept her "new normal" and learn to be herself, do what is right and not hurt people. The struggle seems/reads so real! You can see her flailing while you read the book ... it plays out like movie while you are reading.
Can Braedyn figure out hot to "be" without hurting herself & those she loves?
I was intrigued and couldn't put it down. I fell into the nook & before I knew it, I had finished it. I look forward to the other books in the series!
