Shadow Children

It took me some time to get into this book but once I did  ...  I WAS IN!
You want to hate, Eve and even may for a while  ...  then events unfold.
The setting & storyline are fascinating.
I am looking forward to the other books!

  1. UPDATED REVIEW:

    Book Blurb:

"Who should you trust when everyone has the face of an angel?

    Spellbinding. Dark. Gripping.

Angels, Demons, Guardians, brooding guys with green eyes- Eighteen-year-old Grace is sick of the lot of them. All she wants is a normal life, but when tragedy strikes, Grace and her foster family are hurled head-first into a world of magic, intrigue, and deceit.

As the threads of her life begin to unravel before her eyes,Grace finds herself at the epicenter of a battle to save those she loves. In a world built on lies, how far will she have to go to uncover the truth?"

    My review/Thoughts:

It took me some time to get into this book but once I did ... I WAS IN!

What a GREAT way to start a new Young Adult paranormal/fantasy series. It has EVERYTHING a girl could want - mystery, wanting what you know you can never have, demons, magic, angels, and HOT guy to want!

Grace has been with Eve for as long as she can remember and Eve will not talk to Grace about why they MUST live the way they do. Why are the girl hunted? Why won't Even explain it?

I wanted to hate Eve and even may have for a while ... then events unfold.

When the magic is too much to hide and is sensed by the Spirit Demons; they show up to take them! The Shadow Children, Eve and even Grace (though she doesn't know it) open a doorway for them escape through. If only that was the end of this? What happens? Read the book!

The setting & storyline are fascinating.
I am looking forward to the other books!
