Amazon associates link  ...  any revenue made off sales here will be used to buy books to review. I am out to help writers not earn a living. Also it helps support my "bad" habit if reading, lol!

City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare (The Mortal Instruments series)

Though I am way outside of the average age of a YA reader ... It was great!
...  and so the journey continues  ...

The world is built masterfully & the characters jump of the page; it is a joy to read and you really feel for Claire  ...  so much upheaval  ...

I tore through this book & then was on to the next!

Wayward Moon by Aileen Harkwood (The Dark Far Hollows Book 6)

This was an interesting take on Fae/Human relations. So much strife, loss and oppression. This book definitely had a post-apocolyptic feel to it. Not my favorite type of read but it was good.

Well written with characters that jump out at you.

I read this book as an Advanced reader copy.
